The Fiber Laser Diode Driver Mux module (FLDM) provides the total solution for the high power pulsed laser driver system such as MOPA. This module is a kind of sophisticated multi-functional driver which is composed of 1 channel of Seed Laser Diode Driver(SLDD), 1 or 2 channels of Pump Laser Diode Driver(PLDD) and 2 or 4 channels of High Power Laser Diode Driver(HPLDD).

The SLDD channel can be operated as the pulsed laser driver which can generate the very short pulse down to 400ps, high current pulse up to 1.2A and various shape of laser pulse by superimposing the two individual pulses. The PLDD channel is a kind of the pumping source driver for the pre-amplification of seed laser pulse, which can drive pump LDs up to the power of 750mW. The HPLDD channels can drive the high power laser diodes up to 12A, which are used as the pumping source for high power laser module. The HPLDD channels can be composed of 10W LDs, 25W LDs or both types of LDs.

The FLDM module can be controlled and monitored through the Graphic User Interface (GUI) on a remote PC which is connected via a USB2.0. This module can also be controlled by using the rotary knob on the board. By using the GUI and knob, users can control the pulse width, repetition rate, current, pulse shape and thresholds.

This FLDM module is a compact and multi-functional driver for the high power laser system, and it can be provided as a kind of stand-alone and total solution system like bench-top products.
